Andrea Loosen Landscape Design evolved by merging my passion for plants, gardens, and the outdoors with my bachelor of Art degree from Long Beach State University. 

A native of Southern California, I began my career as a designer in the corporate business world. After moving to San Diego I went to work for Armstrong’s Garden Center as their landscape designer for the Carlsbad and Encinitas retail nurseries. Needing more flexibility I developed Andrea Loosen Landscape Design where I am able to combine my interests and talents, which has enhanced my appreciation of the interaction between plants, gardens and people...
